CAREER + LIFE

Karen is a Digital & Technology Business Leader with 12+ years of international experience defining business strategies, leading process improvements and human-centered transformations within global organisations. She is an ex-Big 4, ex-L'Oréal. Most recently, she was the Global Head of Digital Operations at Aesop and a member of the Global Digital & Technology Leadership team.

Her experience working within large corporations, combined with her empathic leadership and collaborative approach, have equipped her with the agility and knowledge to achieve seamless and fundamental organisational changes. She uses human-centered design frameworks that mutually benefit organisations and employees. With her experience in Management Consulting, Digital, Sales and Operations, Karen's understanding of business operations is end-to-end.

Karen is a Caribbean-born, French and Australian Citizen. She lived in Paris, Melbourne and worked with teams primarily located in the US, UK, France, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, Germany and Switzerland. She now lives in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Karen is the co-founder of publishing startup valaba.io​.

 

Karen is a life-long learner.


COACHING EXPERIENCE

Karen is a certified ICF Coach, NLP Practitioner, and a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the leading global organisation of professionally trained coaches. She is a certified DYL Coach from Stanford Life Design Lab program. DYL methodology applies design thinking to life's "wicked" problems and vocational wayfinding. 

Karen is a Business Mentor through the One Young World (OYW) Mentorship program. 

She works with global incubator Impact Hub to help start-ups achieve key milestones whilst de-risking burnout. Impact Hub has a network of 24,500 entrepreneurs and innovators in 107+ locations worldwide in 50+ countries spanning five continents.

This 4-week career discovery program is designed for individuals craving a major career change, but do not know where to start or feel stuck.

This program will help you:

  • Identify your YAH (You are Here), and understand what’s working at work, in life and what’s not

  • Clarify your career and life aspirations

  • Manage your time effectively and create healthy habits

  • Design at least three new career options

This program includes:

  • 1 x 60-minute discovery session

  • 1 x 90-minute coaching session

  • 2 x 60-minute weekly coaching sessions

  • Unlimited coaching support via email, voice & text messages between sessions for support and accountability

  • Customised reading list recommendations to foster your growth and accelerate  your transition

  • Worksheets and personalised homework assignments adapted to your specific needs

All participants are eligible for our 3-month career transition program, designed for all individuals willing to kick start a new career within the next 3 to 12 months.

  • Kick-start your career transition with dedicated tactical sessions with me

This program includes:

  • 5 x 60-minute weekly coaching sessions
